Dear Fellow
Rotarians and Family of Rotary:
It is my
pleasure to invite you to share in a unique experience for District 7450, a
District Conference aboard a luxurious ocean liner, Royal Caribbean’s Explorer
of the Seas, for a fabulous five day cruise to Bermuda and back.
We
will board the magnificent Explorer of the Seas at Cape Liberty in Bayonne, NJ
on May 8, 2010 and return on May 13, 2010. There will be activities galore
aboard the ship, miniature golf, a rock climbing wall, tariff free shopping,
shows, casino, children’s pool and activities, health and fitness center or fun
in the sun, and of course, great food. The Explorer of the seas has it all.
While in
Bermuda, golfers will have an opportunity to play on a great course, and
shoppers will have a field day. Join us as we recognize our spectacular year
in District 7450. I look forward to seeing you on board!
Please register by clicking Register tab above.
Bon Voyage!

Bermuda:
Nearly 600
Nautical miles off the coast of North Carolina, this island is known for its
pastel painted houses, brilliantly colored gardens, cricket matches, fabulous
golf courses and charming shorts. Its pink sand beaches and excellent shopping
make Bermuda a delightful place to visit.
Kings
Wharf:
This
cultural center built at the remarkable Royal Naval Dockyard offers hopping,
restaurants, art galleries, craft markets and eight wonderful museums. For
water-lovers it also offers a snorkel park and an extensive watersports
facility, making it an excellent destination for the whole family.
Hamilton:
This
charming town is quintessential Bermuda, with pastel buildings and businessmen
bustling around in their jackets, ties and famous shorts. From here, you can
set sail to see the more than 350 islands that make up Bermuda. Or grab a game
of golf at one of six world-class golf courses in this area.
St.
George:
In the
oldest inhabited town of English origin in the New World, you’ll find yourself
surrounded by history. Visit the Old State House, constructed in 1620, and
Gates Fort, built by the original settlers on the ship-wrecked Sea Venture,
which dates back to 1609. Or set out on a walking tour beginning on Ordinance
Island and explore the cobbled streets in town. |
